since we get so many new members here these days, we thought it might be a good idea to go through the rules here so we can all be clear on things...
obviously, the main rule is NO CP. we are not huge fans of cp here.neither are our sponsors.spelled out, this means in photos there can be no underage...in toons and 3D, true and fantasy incest stories, the age must be 13 and LOOK or act 13. we do not allow cartoon depictions or photos of rape, torture, beastiality, fear or obvious pain.we feel that this goes beyond good taste and therefore we will not allow it at the site.our sponsors fully endorse this and also practice the same rules of reporting violators that AI employs...which is report them ALL...
one more posting rule as far as pictures, art, cartoons or other posted information here...the posts are the property of this board or of the initial poster.anyone who plagiarizes the materials of a member here will be banned by IP to prevent further abuse of this board.please do not post any copyrighted materials, or materials with web addresses in them.
we ask that you understand it is the right of moderators or administrators to close any thread they deem necessary, at any time, for any reason, and that this will not be up for discussion or debate.
we ask that you please use a valid email address in here.you are welcome to use the web based addresses, that is not a problem, but bullshit addresses will get you banned.it is not that we want necessarily to be able to track you, but it has been our experience here that those who do register with fakes seem to be the ones who cause trouble and attack people and come just for that.so we save you the trouble if that is your purpose and simply ban the fake addys.if you decide to reregister with a real addy, that is fine, but if you do a fake and find yourself banned, this will be likely the reason.
we also ask that you refrain from posting spam, or links to other sites without first discussing it with goldie, chucky, and myself.there are some that we can allow, and others we cannot.all we need is to be asked first.not asking means auto deleting of those links.
now for the fine points...
we like for AI to be a free discussion among its' members.this is a place where we want people to come and feel welcome and enjoy themselves.speak your mind, by all means, but understand that we moderate by two tenets here:the first is that any idea is up for discussion...any subject can and will be addressed in the forums...disagreement is fine, so long as personal attacks are off limits.people do not come here to be attacked and called names.if you feel this is something you really have to do to get your point across...go someplace else.there are plenty of forums where this is ok to do, we encourage you to go and find one whose standards are more to your liking. if you feel a strong disagreement to something, disagree...but refrain from attacking the staff, the members, the board or the rules.
the second tenet we moderate by here is that one person's rights end where the next person's begins.that means that we will not allow one person's issue or issues dominate how the forum behaves, or at the expense of others.in other words, one person's right to flame another person because they WANT to...does indeed impinge on the rights of the person they are attacking, and therefore is not allowed.
basically the best way to sum it up is to say that AI is a respect-based forum.neither the mods nor the members are here to be whipping posts, and such behavior will not be tolerated.
last rule here...enjoy yourself.that is the whole point of our being here and doing things as we do...so everyone here has an opportunity, from the mods to the members, to do just that.
and that pretty well sums it up.if anyone has any comments or suggestions about these, feel free to contact any administrator or post to this thread about it...if you have a problem we do encourage that you take this route, as haranguing our mods for enforcing these rules is never going to get you anywhere...
