i feel that it's really sad that there are people who have nothing better in their lives than to obsess and spread hate...and that said, there are simply enough places for those who need to do it, and enough fools for them to get over on, in other places. but not here. healthy adults don't need this kind of shit...and those who do have their own problems for sure, else they would not be so invested in it all...sad, you know? this kind of sickness breeds and spreads like cancer...though its an illness of another kind...anyway...AI is now and will ALWAYS remain, a forum free from this silly nonsense, and as chucky so eloquently states here, if it comes, we can and we WILL take care of it.

Chucky and Shadowgirl, well said and a big thanks. That's why I'm a member and will stay a member for as long as you'll have me here. I believe in live and let live unless it affects my family. I've seen to much of what hate and voilence can do. Bless all you good folk for doing guard on bigotry and hate.

The longer I live, the more I see how everyone wants to push their own beliefs on everyone else. They are always right, and what they see is wrong is unforgiveable and they want everyone to be on their side. What I have come to realize is that there will always be people who push and pull, but when we stand up for each other we can overcome. I know that I am fighting a battle within myself on such issues, but this is for me to decide. I don't push my convictions on others and don't want them to do it to me. I don't quite know how much longer I will be here, but I have enjoyed myself thus far. It makes me feel loved to know that I am a part of something where those in authority look out for me. You moderators are awesome. I hope that one day someone will look at me and say the same. Thank you.

I can only assume that the great moderators for this board are really on top of events before they get out of hand, as I've seen so few cruel/offensive postings. Having said that...I've been very very naughty...I need stern discipline! hehehehe!

I've finally found my way home! I'm enthralled by the love that abounds on these pages. I'm very grateful towards the hard working moderators that keep this site positive!
I hope to make many new friends here and to be considered a plus also.

Regarding the political stuff; Capitalising on fear is a cowardly act. The color charts were not designed to put you at ease, the cowards needed an easy device to remind you of 'the fear' that they need to control you.

Regarding 'religion'; The basic greed and selfishness of man cries out 'My God is better than your God!' The 'If there is or isn't' debate will be put on hold, assume there is, assume also that there is just one, then religions are saying that 'our' way is the only way. Yet if God is all things to all people then why can't we as individuals seek out what is best for us?
Now for a synopsis that freed my thinking... When societies were new, a wise person sought a way to keeep the lesser's in line. Scare them with something that can't be proven. 'If you don't behave God will get you!' To keep the 'power', wise person said "I have the only link to God! And this is how you must behave...." Fear ran amok! and the masses were controlled.

Anybody see a thread here? ... The old Democracy encouraged freedom of thoughts while the new has decreed 'yore either with me or you're terrorists'. From a government 'of the people' to one that wants to control the people. How? By capitalising on Fear.
