Hey all....frequent lurker here, but I saw something that I thought you might find interesting.
Antonio Bertolucci's new film, The Dreamers, debuted at the Venetian film festival yesterday and it began making waves, especially due to controversial scenes of brother-sister incest. Though the movie will be seen in it's original format in many other places in the world (including Italy, which banned Bertolucci's other erotic shocker, Last Tango in Paris), it will have to be edited before being released in the USA due to a contractual obligation for the film to receive an R rating.
I'm not too upset about this...we'll get the whole version in DVD eventually, I'm sure. I thought you'd want to know.
