Autumn is fast approaching. Can tell by the angle of the sun. So I presume the temps have finally cooled down there, Vman. What are they now? It rained here today and actually got into the 20s. (C) We really needed the rain...

The local wally world had their dancing, singing Santa greeting you at the door with a sign telling you to start your lay-away today.

Rained here today also but we don't need it.

Fall - the depressing season. (for me, at least)
I think it has something to do with all the leaves dying and the cooler weather.

Why can't I be happy with the weather?
It's either too hot or too cold, too cold or too hot.

I want to live in a mall, damnit!

We're moving into Spring down here. Days are getting longer, the garden is coming back to life. All the stores are pre-occupied with Fathers Day (this Sunday). After that the bombardment of Xmas advertising will commence again. 115 days to go!

`````can't they pass a law?
you only get a present if you are under 18 years of age. and that's only if you are good. that would eliminate most everyone in that age group.
Thinking of starting an Anti-Christmas Society
For the prior 50 weeks save £5 or $10 and on the 24th December go out and get so drunk and wake up 2nd January lol
Well, we could be in Simmo's situation and have Christmas in the middle of a heat wave summer!
BTW Vman, you didn't answer if the weather has gotten cooler there, and by how much...waiting to hear!
I dont want to put a damper on this post but xmas is one of the most loneliest days for so many people.As of now here in ohio the bars close on xmas eve, and do not open till the day after xmas. There are so many people who have no where to go, thus all the suicides. On new years eve if you want to go out, when your ready to go home, all u have to do is call the police, taxi, or even a bus, and they will see u get home safe no charge. Were trying to get this for xmas to. im sure alot of people will abandon their family. But for the people who have none, it will prevent alot of suicides. Whats your opinion
I think it is agood idea Daddy Branded. Here we have a big Christmas dinner downtown and everyone is welcome. And of course, things are always bustling at the hospital where I work. I may have to work Christmas this year. Darn!!
