You people really need help. There is something deep within all of you people that needs healing. Incest is NOT okay, loving you're child or sister/brother sexually is NOT okay. I especially feel offended and heartbroken when I hear of parents having sex with children. For gods sake people, I don't know what you were told by you're parents but having sex with a relative is NEVER fucking okay. Whatever you were taught is WRONG on so many counts. My heart breaks for the women who will never know what its like to feel the pure intimacy and passion you feel when you're with the man that you love. It pains me deeply. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I respectfully disagree with you. "Love is blind," and sometimes that means that people love their relatives more than anyone or anything else. If both partners are mature enough to want it, why should incestuous love be "wrong"?

I'm sorry to see that somehow you believe that it has been our upbringing that has brought us to our views, while I know that I, personally, have not had such an upbringing. My relationships are healthy. I am an adult and a reasonably sane person. If I would want to have an incestuous relationship with an equally adult and sane relative, why would that be wrong? What reason, what real reason besides "eww", would make that wrong?

In the future, you should try making arguments based upon principles instead of upon how something makes you feel.

I myself am opposed to many forms of incest. It is wrong for someone to sexually abuse a member of their family. It is wrong for adults to use children for sexual purposes. It is wrong for close relatives to have children together. All of these things are wrong not because of how I or anyone else feels about them, but because they cause HARM.

Incest between consenting adults in which contraceptives are used does not cause harm and therefore it is not wrong.

If you're not interested in having sex with anyone in your family then fine. Your reasons for not wanting to are not important because the choice of whether to have such a relationship is yours to make. But don't come here and pretend that the rest of us should be bound by your personal choices and beholden to your personal opinions because we are most definitely not.

The only thing that we are bound by is objective truth. If you have arguments to make that are based upon objective truth, then please speak up. Otherwise go bother someone else.

Ahh... the old ethics vs. morals debate. The ethics say "It may be fine for others, just not me" While the morals say "It's not fine by me, so nobody else should be." Highly moral people will never understand others because they want everyone else to be and act the same as them. It's the pinnacle of arrogance and narrow-mindedness, and religions fuel it far too much in this country.
